Hi Folks hope things are going well for you these days. I like you are just getting my son back to school today. First day of school and all that fun stuff. Today being a short day but tomorrow its back to normal and life gets the back to normal rhythm again to it. So I hope your kids went back to school without too much fuss these days. We all know how much fun that can be.
Anyways okay onto the newsletter. Yes as to the Newsletter our time has come. You asked for it so we are going to change our website around so ITS FOCUS WILL BE ON SINGLE PARENTS AND DATING. We will have articles as well for those who are not single parents but we have had numerous requests from people just like you with kids but who are not dead yet. So this is our first article dealing with some of the issues you requested. So please do continue to tell us what issues you would like to see covered and we will do our best to make you happy. PART ONE OF A TWO PART SERIES
SINGLE PARENTS DATING
Today we deal with the power of emotion
This will be done as a two part series dealing with the power of your emotions.
We all have emotions and god yes your children most probably do know how
to get on your nerves quite nicely. Sound familiar well mine is certainly good at it.
Most come natural to kids they just seem to know what to do to get your goat
especially if they want something.
But as a single parent we cannot just rollover and play dead now can we. Instead
We have to be strong for our children’s sake and our own as well. Now it is when you feel you have reached the stage in your life that you just can’t stand it anymore. And the
It being anything in your life that you are not happy with.
Most of us are like that we just keep on taking it then:
I JUST CAN’T TAKE THIS ANY MORE.
Comes into play. So there you are sitting at home and your ex is out on a date
And she dumped the kids on you again. Even though its her turn to look after them.
And it’s the third time its happened this month. Question is what are you going to do about it. Are you just going to sit there and do nothing or is it time to SPEW SOME FIRE AND SAY THIS IS COMPLETE BALDERDASH AND I JUST WON’T ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN ANY MORE.
We can only hope that you will do this and let your anger show. Forget all that talk show host BS anger can be a very good thing to use. So just get really freaking mad and say that’s it no more.
Now my friend you are ready for a change. And this cannot happen till you decide that yeah your threshold has been reached and ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
So now its time to make that change isn’t it. Its time to say no this just can’t continue on in my life. This has to stop. It simply must stop. So now its time to take the bull by the horns and say no more. Your life cannot continue to go on like this.
No matter if its your ex constantly taking advantage of you, and this has happened to me or even say your kids taking advantage of you, or your boss for that matter. We are all afraid but when pushed far enough its time to take action.
The first step here is to make the decision that you will change something. So the next time the same old situation happens you have a planned response available for you to deal with it.
So right now that’s where we will end this as its time for you to come up with your planned response with dealing with whatever situation is just plain driving you crazy.
SO go ahead and plan something good cause next time we are going to put it into use.
Now remember as a single parent yes it can often be hard but always remember love your kids and don’t forget to love yourself as well. Cause you are worthwhile in every way and deserve love.
P. S. Once again as I mentioned before I am not an English major so remember the grammar may indeed not be perfect but as long as you are getting the message that’s what counts.
